About Us Larry’s Dog Walking is owned and operated by me, Larry Dean, a long time dog owner and Bernal Heights resident. Many years ago I adopted two dogs, Buddy (shepherd/collie mix) and Lucy (cattle dog mix), from the pound. I started spending lots of time on Bernal Heights Hill walking my dogs. I met other dog owners and saw a group of people I had never noticed before: professional dog walkers. As their charges bounded out of the trucks I thought ”what a great job!” I decided to try it. The rest, as they say, is history. Larry’s Dog Walking provides active off leash playgroups for well-socialized dogs. |

We take each group to Ft. Funston or McLaren Park, two of San Francisco’s best off leash areas. Because all dogs run free off leash, it is important that new clients get along with other dogs and are not inclined to run off. We happily throw a ball for those who love fetch, and the Fort Funston group often goes down to the beach so the ocean lovers get to romp in the sand and water. LDW guarantees that an outing with us meets all of the daily exercise needs of your dog (and fun too!) We also provide general pet and house sitting services. In addition to pet sitting, we are available to come to your home to feed cats, clean litter boxes, water plants, bring in the mail or any other service you need while away. |
